Mr. Walker practices within the firm’s Health Care Department, concentrating on mergers, acquisitions, sales, private offerings of securities, and related transactions, including debt and private equity financing. His practice includes advising hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, specialty hospitals, large physician group practices, and end-stage renal disease facilities on various regulatory and transactional matters.
He has represented both lenders and borrowers in various healthcare-related financing transactions, including asset-based lending and restructuring. He has assisted in the re-syndication and start up of numerous ambulatory surgery centers and hospital-physician joint ventures. He commonly lectures and writes on legal and regulatory issues affecting a wide range of health care providers.

Ms. Moore focuses on corporate services and transactional and regulatory matters for health care providers and companies. In this capacity, she concentrates on acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, private offerings of securities, governance and corporate formation issues, and joint ventures. She has drafted and assisted with negotiation of purchase agreements and other transaction documents, operating agreements, management agreements, lease agreements and medical director agreements. She has counseled ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, physician groups and other health care providers with respect to Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse laws, the Stark Act, tax-exemption issues and general health care compliance issues.
